To decrease the prevalence of dating violence amongst youth and young adults through preventative practices and education.

PADVC Primary Focus Areas
Prevail Above Domestic Violence Center uses the CDC Social-Ecological Model to address the underlying causes of teen dating violence at every level. PADVC recognizes that violence amongst youth is often associated with a wide range of issues that young people in our communities are faced with daily. Prevail Above Domestic Violence Center focuses its efforts on teen dating violence, youth empowerment, parent engagement, and community connectedness to form an alliance of preventionists who are driven to prevent an ongoing cycle of abuse. We at PADVC aim to eliminate and reduce factors that perpetuate teen dating violence and reshape the way teen’s view dating relationships. Together, we can prevent teen dating violence and create a future where everyone is loved, respected, safe and thriving in relationships that are free of dating abuse.
